It’s been another busy day in the Football Transfer Tavern as punters prepare for tonight’s massive Champions League fixture between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Paul Hetherington has arrived in the bar with some domestic news however, that is interesting Liverpool fans in the bar.
The Daily Star journalist suggests that Liverpool are looking at Bayer Leverkusen duo Emre Can (pictured) and Heung-Min Son as Brendan Rodgers looks to improve his Reds squad in the summer.
The Merseyside giants have ensured Champions League football next season and that could see Rodgers splashing the cash to continue their progress.
Now Hetherington indicates that Can and Heung-Min Son are on Rodgers’ transfer radar. Can, 20, has been compared to German legend Michael Ballack in his playing style and the German Under-21 international could now be heading to Anfield.
Meanwhile, the South Korean forward is attracting attention from a host of top European clubs, and he can operate in the second striker role or as the out-and-out forward.
