Liverpool plotting move for record breaking striker, Klopp sends scouts to watch

klopp0009Our resident Liverpool supporting punters here inside the Football Transfer Tavern are interested in the news coming in from Goal – with the publication claiming that the Reds have sent scouts to keep track on Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe.

The 17-year-old recently broke Thierry Henry’s record of becoming the youngest-ever goalscorer in the French top tier, and it seems that Jurgen Klopp has identified the tricky forward as a potential acquisition in the transfer window.

A host of Liverpool fans over by the pool table here in the Tavern are liking the sound of this news, and admit they would like to see the club pursue the promising Monaco forward.

Our landlord here in the Tavern says Liverpool need to be looking at players who are already established, and already are world-class, if they want to realistically win the Premier League trophy next season.

The player has yet to sign a professional contract at Monaco, so Liverpool could capitalise on this and sign the promising forward for a considerably smaller fee.
