Liverpool predicted XI: Unbeaten Reds set to remain unchanged

Liverpool predicted XI: Unbeaten Reds set to remain unchanged - Liverpool

Liverpool remain the only team with a 100% record in the Premier League this season after brushing aside Arsenal at Anfield last weekend in a clinical and dominate 3-1 performance.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have put their foot down early in their bid for Premier League glory this year and after convincing wins against Norwich City, Southampton, and Arsenal, the Reds travel to Turf Moor today.

The European champions found out their opponents in the Champions League defence this week, but with their eyes still firmly set on domestic glory, how will they line-up against Burnley?

Let’s take a look.

Alisson Becker won the UEFA Goalkeeper of the Season in midweek, but the Brazilian still remains sidelined, forcing Adrian between the sticks once again.

At the awards, Virgil Van Djik was also successful by winning the Player of the Year – he should keep his spot alongside Joel Matip who scored against Arsenal.

In the centre of the pitch, Naby Keita is still injured which should keep the midfield the same against Arsenal, as Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum helped Liverpool register 25 shots with each of them earning an 8/10 rating (as per Sky Sports).

Up top, Mohamed Salah scored twice against the Gunners, receiving a 9/10 for his near-perfect display, and the Egyptian now has 59 Premier League goals since joining the Reds in 2017 – more than any other player in the top flight.

Alongside Salah, Sadio Mane won a joint Golden Boot with his colleague last campaign and the ex-Southampton man has the one goal to his name this season.

Since joining Liverpool in 2015, Roberto Firmino has scored 10+ goals in every Premier League season, with his 12 goals in 37 appearances last year his best goals to game ratio in England.
