Liverpool prepare summer move for Leeds United’s rising star

ByramLiverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are hoping they can secure an upcoming talent from the Championship after the Daily Star revealed they planning a bid for Leeds United star Sam Byram.

The England Under-20 wing back has been likened to Gareth Bale in recent weeks as he is a right back by trade who is now playing as winger for Leeds United.

The Whites rejected a £4.5m bid from Southampton last summer but Brendan Rodgers is confident he can lure him from Elland Road.

The Reds have scouted him on several occasions this season as he has been an integral part of Neil Redfearn’s inform side.

The 20-year-old burst onto the scene in 2012 and has since been a key player for the club as he has gone on to make over 100 league appearances for the club.

Byram has the potential to make it to the top and Rodgers is confident he can mould and develop Byram into one of the best wing backs in the Premier League.
