Liverpool preparing to let Marko Grujic leave Anfield once again

Liverpool have been making a number of changes to their squad this summer and could be about to make another one in the near future.

Jurgen Klopp is keen to make his squad as competitive as possible for the upcoming campaign as they look to strengthen their performances across all competitions that they are involved with.

The German has already added to his midfield this summer with the acquisitions of Naby Keita and Fabinho, following the loss of Emre Can, however, it appears the Reds may be about to lose another powerful midfielder in the future.

According to a report by Football Insider, Marko Grujic is thought to be ready to extend his stay with Cardiff City for another loan spell, following a successful time with the Welsh outfit.

The Serbia international spent the second half of the last campaign with the Bluebirds as he helped guide them to Premier League football and it appears he could be about to extend his stay in the Welsh capital.

The Verdict:

The 22-year-old is likely to struggle to get game time at Anfield next season, despite his impressive six-month spell at Cardiff and would benefit from spending another year in Wales.

The powerful midfielder was outstanding for the Bluebirds and will be looking to continue to impress the Liverpool hierarchy from afar as he looks to break into the first-team in the near future.
