This is massive news for the Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern…
It has been an excellent start to the season for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, and the Reds in the Tavern are loving every minute of it.
Their optimism could, however, be quickly washed away on the 17th of October – with Jurgen Klopp’s men gearing up for their stiffest test yet – in a huge clash against Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.
Man Utd are a team on the rise; and the Liverpool fans are concerned that Pogba and co could be a step too far for the Redmen.
However, whilst the game remains a little over a week away – Jurgen Klopp has received an early boost to his chances ahead of the game.
According to the Liverpool Echo, both Nathaniel Clyne and Dejan Lovren are set to be given the all clear for the game after shaking off their respective injuries.
They also report that Adam Lallana, whom many of the Liverpool fans in the Tavern had ruled out of the game, still has a chance of making the fixture against all odds – though he remains a doubt.
The Liverpool fans in the Tavern are delighted with this. The Reds are short on defensive depth, and the return of two of their most experienced defenders could prove vital against United.
Whilst Lallana remains a doubt – there is a chance he could feature; and given his form so far this season – that is a huge boost.
Klopp will no doubt have a few tough decisions to make, given the furor that often surrounds Liverpool vs Man Utd games. One of the most historic rivalries in English football, both sides always bring their A game – and it is sure to be a full house in the Football Transfer Tavern a week on Monday.
