The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are always happy when their side gets one up on their Manchester rivals…
Arguably the most historic rivalry in the Premier League, meetings on the pitch between Liverpool and Man Utd are often one of the highlights of the Premier League calendar – with the managers and players alike keen to secure a victory over their rivals.
Given the stature of the duo in the Premier League, it comes as no surprise that both teams are also fighting each other off the field too. Both teams are looking to secure their position at the top of the Premier League, and players of a high quality are necessary for that.
It will come as no surprise to learn, then, that both the Red Devils and Liverpool are apparently fighting it out for France youth man Yasser Larouci – and interestingly, the Daily Mail is reporting that Liverpool are set to win the race.
A free agent at present, Larouci is available on a free – and with Jurgen Klopp making a point of focusing upon youth at present, the attacker looks set to become the latest to join the ranks at Anfield.
Whilst not much is known about him, Laurouci is known in the Transfer Tavern as a quick, technical attacking midfielder – with the Frenchman comfortable across the attack.
Le Havre was the latest club of Larouci, and given that the club has developed the likes of Paul Pogba and Riyad Mahrez in recent years – Laurouci is certainly in good company.
Elsewhere, it looks like more good news is on the horizon for the Reds in the Transfer Tavern, with Adam Lallana set to sign a new deal with the club.
