Liverpool set to hijack Premier League rival’s midfield deal

Mario SuarezLiverpool have infuriated Watford fans in the Transfer Tavern, with the lads kicking off after it was reported the Reds are hijacking a deal of theirs.

The Daily Star states Liverpool are ready to bring the Spanish international in from Fiorentina, with Jurgen Klopp keen to bolster his midfield ranks for the second-half of the season.

Suarez only moved to Italy over the summer from Atletico Madrid but has struggled to make an impression in the Serie A, with the player’s agent confirming that a number of sides are interested in his clients signature.

‘There are two Spanish teams, three English teams and one French team after him.’

The 28-year-old is thought to be available for a cut-price fee of just £6m, which appeals to Klopp as he is plotting the majority of his expensive rebuild at Anfield for the end of the season.

A debate has now emerged as to whether Suarez would be better off at Liverpool or Watford, with our landlord controversially stating that the Hornets would be the better fit for the Spanish international.
