Liverpool fans here in the Tavern will be delighted with how their season has panned out, as they have the Champions League final to look forward to next weekend.
Indeed, Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to secure his first piece of silverware against Real Madrid next weekend, as the Reds will be looking for a memorable Istanbul repeat. Although, it appears as if they’re also making moves on the transfer front, as according to French TV station Canal+ (via the Express), a deal for Nabil Fekir is “99 per cent” done.
Interestingly, according to French TV station Canal+, Liverpool are on the verge of signing Nabil Fekir with a deal said to be “99 per cent completed”.
The Reds are aiming to get their business done extremely early as they close in on their first summer signing.
Indeed, it’s believed that Liverpool will have to give up close to £60 million to tempt Lyon into selling. Although, this shouldn’t be a problem as Jurgen Klopp still has the transfer kitty from Philippe Coutinho’s £142 million move to Barcelona available to him.
Nabil Fekir has established himself as one of the most exciting prospects in the whole of world football, as he continues to create and score goals for his current club Lyon. And, with cash from the Coutinho sale still available to manager Jurgen Klopp, the Reds should have no trouble in meeting the French club’s demands.
