Liverpool should land this £58.5m-rated forward to turn their attack into the best in England

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping that Jurgen Klopp will take his team to the next level this summer. It has been a fantastically progressive season for the Reds, and another big summer could turn them back into the European powerhouse of a team they once were.

One player that they should target this summer is French attacker Anthony Martial, who, according to Mohamed Bouhafsi, wants to leave Man Utd this summer. Likely frustrated by a lack of action, the Frenchman appears to be seeking finer pastures, and Anfield could be the perfect home for him.

An incredible attacking talent, Martial – who is rated at £58.5 million by Transfer Markt – would bring so much to the Liverpool attack. Brilliant pace, technique and goalscoring, his ability would immediately make Liverpool a better team. His lack of action this season is more of a reflection on Jose Mourinho than it is on him, as he has done everything right for the most part.

He has scored 9 times this season, and so he clearly knows where the net is, particularly given that he has made just 16 Premier League starts.

Not to mention, at just 22-years-old, his skill ceiling is ginormous. He’s still a player that is developing, and the prospect of him getting even better than he already is should force Jurgen Klopp’s hand.

Liverpool’s attack is already brilliant. Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, with Roberto Firmino leading the line ahead of them, have been sensational this season, and the Reds’ offensive line is already up there with the Premier League’s best. However, the signing of Martial would take them to the next level, and the results could be frightening for the other top teams in England.
