Liverpool are looking more and more likely to finally land a Premier League title this time out, and at the time of writing, were preparing for a huge game against closest rivals Manchester City.

The Reds have been playing some superb football, and the likes of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have been at the forefront of everything good about the team this season, while Virgil Van Dijk has been a rock at the back.

However, with the January window upon us, fans will be looking at the Reds to see if they go out and add any more players to their already talented squad, players who can come in and simply ensure the club get over the line in the end by adding better depth to the ranks.

And one man we at the Tavern feel would be a solid addition with little to lose for the Reds would be Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, who has been superb for Steven Gerrard's Rangers this term and built quite the reputation for himself.

The 12 goal strike ace has been at the forefront of things for the Gers, and his sale would be a bitter blow to the club if it was to happen in January.

For Liverpool though, it would be a relatively cheap signing who they might be able to reap the benefits of, and at just 22-years-old, he has plenty of time to improve further while having the potential to add goals to the team this term if Roberto Firmino is absent.

Morelos is loving life at Rangers, but the chance of a move to Anfield, no doubt with the blessing of his boss, would be an opportunity too good to turn down.

Liverpool fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
