BBC Sport have some news that Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are very keen to hear as they confirm that Daniel Agger has returned to former club Brondby.
Agger has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer long and it seems that after expressing his frustration at not only Brendan Rodgers but also the way he has been treated by the Reds, he has got his wish.
Barcelona were initially rumoured as a potential destination but it seems that the Liverpool pecking order is not the only one Agger finds himself at the bottom of.
With Brondby completing something of a coup, Agger is returning to the club that sold him to the Reds for £5.8 million back in 2006.
Liverpool meanwhile are looking to move onto bigger and better things with Rodgers fairly content with the current back four he has at his disposal.
Reds fans are now hoping that if anyone comes in between now and the close of the window, it will be another replacement for Glen Johnson!
Liverpool fans. How would you rank Daniel Agger’s Anfield career out of ten? Let us know your thoughts below.
