It seems that a fair few clubs are growing impatient with their respective transfer sagas as well – according to the Daily Telegraph at least.
The publication have reported that Liverpool are set to make a decision on the future of Daniel Agger this week with the Danish international defender linked with a switch away from Anfield pretty much all summer.
Our regulars here in the tavern are pretty split down the middle over whether they should axe the long-serving defender.
It seems our landlord thinks he will stay, especially after main suitors Barcelona managed to lure Thomas Vermaelen away from Arsenal but that said, the Gunners could reportedly turn to Agger as the Belgian’s replacement.
Of course, should Agger get his wish, he will be making a move to a new club, but top class suitors are few and far between.
Agger could well face a season on the bench with Martin Skrtel, Mamadou Sakho and Dejan Lovren at the club but as some of our regulars point out over a pint at the bar, the season is long.
Liverpool will be playing far more fixtures than last term meaning injuries and suspensions will creep up on them and Brendan Rodgers will have to utilise his squad far more.
Liverpool fans. Would you keep Agger or sell him on whilst you can make some money from his sale? Let us know your thoughts below.
