They’ve been linked with a host of stars this summer including players from Spain, Germany and Italy.
But the best signing for the club could holding onto current stars such as Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling.
And according to The Mirror, the latter Reds star is set for a massive new contract at Anfield less than two years after signing the last.
Talks are set to take place upon Sterling’s return from the World Cup, and if he enhances his reputation on the big stage he’s likely to earn a salary of £100,000 per week.
His current contract still has three years to run with the Jamaican-born star currently earning £35,000 per week.
But his development since has been nothing short of sensational and Liverpool are set to reward him yet again with a new contract.
The Reds also look set to keep hold of Luis Suarez despite Real Madrid signalling their intent for the Uruguayan striker.
