One of them is Reds winger Oussama Assaidi and according to talkSPORT, Stoke City are still in the hunt for the Moroccan international.
The 25-year-old former Heerenveen winger spent last season on loan at the Britannia Stadium and Potters boss Mark Hughes is keen on bringing him in on a permanent deal.
The Reds’ initial asking price of £7 million was a reportedly a stumbling block for the Potters, as were Assaidi’s wage demands.
However it seems that Hughes is confident that all parties can come to a deal.
He said: “It’s on-going and these things happen. Everybody knows we are interested and that is still the case.”
Assaidi scored four goals in 19 appearances in Hughes’ new look Stoke City side last season.
And the former Manchester City boss will be hoping Assaidi can improve on that return in 2014/15.
