Liverpool star to be loaned out again next season?

Fabio Borini's loan spell could see him return a better playerIt’s been a whirlwind couple of months for Sunderland fans in the Football Transfer Tavern and after securing survival in dramatic fashion, they’ve been given another boost.

The Daily Star claim that Liverpool are prepared to let them borrow Fabio Borini for one more season rather than bringing him back to Anfield.

The on-loan Italian played a key role in keeping Gus Poyet’s men in the top flight and their remarkable revival has opened the door for him to return.

It is believed that Borini himself refuses to give up on his Liverpool career after an injury-hit first season but admits it will be hard to break into an attack filled with Luis Suarez, Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge.

It’s yet to be seen as to whether Borini’s performances have been good enough to earn him a place in Italy’s World Cup squad.

But despite performing at the lower reaches of the Premier League for much of the season, Borini insists that he has grown both as a footballer and as a person.
