There’s a huge summer ahead for Liverpool and manager Jurgen Klopp, who will want to start stamping his authority on a Liverpool side that must be pushing at the top of the Premier League next season.
The Reds have been there or there about’s since Klopp’s arrival but there’s agreement amongst the Reds fans lining the bar in the pub that more needs to be done from the top down in order for the team to start competing with the likes of Chelsea and Spurs next season.
They’ve been busy already this summer though, bringing in Mo Salah but that’s not the only winger Jurgen Klopp is targeting as he attempts to add more depth to his Liverpool team.
According to the Daily Star, the Reds boss is also keen on bringing in Schalke winger Max Meyer, and hasn’t been put off a move despite signing Egyptian international Salah just days ago.
Meyer has just one year left on his current deal with the Bundesliga giants and has refused to sign a contract extension, leading many supporters to believe that he’ll be leaving the club at some point this summer.
According to the report, Arsenal and Bayern Munich are also keeping tabs on the attacker, who, at just 21-years-old, has a very promising career ahead of him.
