Liverpool striker Christian Benteke looks set for showdown talks with boss Jurgen Klopp, in an attempt to discover whether or not there is a future for the Belgian at Anfield.
The striker joined the Reds from Aston Villa just last summer for £32.5 million and has been largely uninvolved during his maiden season, with many of the Liverpool supporters here in the Transfer Tavern hoping that he is sold in the summer.
One of the Reds supporters in the bar has spotted an article in The Independent however, that claims the Belgian striker will seek talks with the German manager, when he returns from Euro 2016 to discover whether or not he still has a future.
West Ham have been heavily linked with a move for the striker and they will retain hope that Liverpool will want to offload their talisman.
One Liverpool fan is over by the smoking area and he thinks that Benteke is not good enough for the club, stating that he doesn’t work hard enough to play under Klopp.
