Liverpool striking target drops huge hint towards January move

KiesslingLiverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are concerned that their season may have hit a bump under Jurgen Klopp and believe their German boss needs huge changes in January.

Metro, reporting via Sky Deutchsland, quote Bayer Leverkusen striker Stefan Kiessling as dropping a massive hint that he will move to Anfield in the New Year. He said:

‘I’ve got to be honest and say we’ll have to see. I’ve given it some thought and I will keep thinking about it. The situation is that of course I would like to be playing – I’ve been here for 10 years and love this club and everybody knows how happy I am here.’

‘I’ve got a pretty good relationship with the fans and of course also with the club. I love playing here and I love this club, and it’s overall a very, very difficult situation for me and everybody knows this.’

With a lack of regular first-team football, largely brought around by the fantastic form of former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, Kiessling could be drafted in when January comes.

Liverpool fans are concerned with their forward contingent, with Daniel Sturridge injured regularly and Danny Ings out for the season.
