And according to The Daily Mail they could have an answer sooner rather than later as they reveal that Liverpool have taken a significant step towards landing Sevilla star Alberto Moreno.
The publication claim that Brendan Rodgers’ side have agreed a £16.2 million deal with Sevilla which will rise based on appearances.
The left-back will now fly with his father and his agent Javier Moya to England to undergo a medical and discuss personal terms.
Moreno has been linked with a host of top European sides after some excellent performances for the La Liga outfit and Europa League winners, with the likes of Real Madrid and Napoli reportedly preparing to move for the 21-year-old in the summer.
But it now seems Moreno is set to become the Reds third signing of what is shaping up to be a busy summer, with Rodgers having already secured the signings of Rickie Lambert from Southampton and Emre Can from Bayern Leverkusen.
