Liverpool will be looking to make it six wins from six in the Premier League when they host Southampton at Anfield on Saturday.
The Reds will be beaming with confidence following their last-minute winner against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League in midweek and Jurgen Klopp will be keen to see his side continue their red-hot form.
Roberto Firmino, who scored that last-gasp winner, is ready to feature from the beginning of the match after he recovered from the eye injury he sustained against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
Daniel Sturridge is another man who could be pushing for a place in Klopp’s starting XI as the striker continues to impress his manager with his recent performances.
Dejan Lovren and Adam Lallana will both miss the visit of their former club with injuries, whilst Divock Origi will remain unavailable after picking up a knee injury in an Under-23 match last weekend.
Liverpool will be confident that they will have enough about them to ensure they make it six wins from a possible six.
Klopp’s side will have been boosted by the fact that Firmino is fit to feature from the beginning as he has become an important part of the deadly front trio and will be looking to make an impact on the game.
The Reds will also be pleased that they will not come up against Danny Ings, who has been in red-hot form for the Saints, as he is ineligible for Southampton due to the terms of his loan agreement between the two clubs.
