Liverpool will look to return to winning ways on Saturday when they host AFC Bournemouth at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
Jurgen Klopp witnessed his side being held to a 1-1 draw with West Ham United on Monday night, allowing Manchester City to take top spot in the Premier League.
However, the Merseyside outfit will know a point will take them back to the summit, although three points will certainly be on the agenda when Eddie Howe’s side come to town.
But, according to the club’s official website, it would appear that Klopp has an anxious and nervy wait ahead of kickoff.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Georginio Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson all face late fitness tests after only just making a return to training from their respective knocks.
All three missed Monday’s game against West Ham, whilst the right-back has also been unavailable for the last three matches as well.
With Manchester City having closed the gap on Liverpool, and with Tottenham Hotspur on their tails, the pressure may start to be building on Klopp’s side.
However, the German faces an anxious wait to see if his key trio are available to play any role against a Bournemouth side that are capable of pulling off a shock result on their day.
Alexander-Arnold, Wijnaldum and Henderson have all been pivotal for the Anfield outfit this season and their recent absences have clearly been felt on the pitch.
