There are some intriguing reports in the Football Transfer Tavern that has brought about a raised eyebrow or two among punters this evening.
talkSPORT suggest that both Liverpool and Tottenham are considering a move for Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic, with the 23-year-old ready to leave the Camp Nou for good.
We have to admit that the young Spanish attacker has fallen off our radar in recent years as he spent time away from the Catalan side.
A quick internet search reveals that he has been at Ajax on loan this term but has disappointingly only found the net twice in his 16 matches for the Dutch outfit.
Unsurprisingly, this makes a permanent move to Amsterdam unlikely, with talkSPORT suggesting that it could actually see him joining a Premier League club in the summer.
The player has since refused to give anything away though, and says he will make a decision at the end of the campaign.
He told: Spanish newspaper Sport: “We will see about my future. There are two months left of the season and then I will make my decisions.”
We’re not convinced here in the tavern but according to today’s speculation both Liverpool and Spurs believe he could still live up to his potential.
Do you think Bojan would be a quality signing for either Premier League side or is he a lost cause? Let us know your thoughts below.
