According to Metro, Yevhen Konoplyanka is set to opt for a move to the Serie A giants instead of Anfield.
The Ukrainian international winger became close to securing a switch to the Reds in January but the deal fell through at the last minute with Dnipro reportedly refusing to let the 24-year-old leave the club.
But times have changed and the club are now said to be willing to sell Konoplyanka during this upcoming January transfer window in order to avoid the possibility of the player departing on a free next summer when his contract expires.
It is believed that Konoplyanka has turned down a contract extension with his current side as he was set on joining Liverpool, but now he cannot be sure that Brendan Rodgers will make another offer for the Ukrainian.
And Inter are supposedly preparing to make a formal offer for the player but reports claim that Dnipro may accept a fraction of their £18 million contract clause.
