Liverpool urged to sign world-class forward

NeymarPunters in the Transfer Tavern have often laughed at Jimmy Bullard, with the former Hull City midfielder being absolutely bonkers, but his latest statement is extremely difficult to comprehend.

According to the I’m A Celebrity star, Liverpool missed an opportunity when they sold Luis Suarez to Barcelona for £75m last summer- as they should have got Brazilian superstar Neymar in return.

To the Liverpool fans in the smoking area this sounds like a decent strategy, until it’s pointed out that Neymar’s unlikely to want to swap sunny Catalonia for Merseyside- and Barcelona have absolutely no intention of letting him go anywhere.

Bullard’s intentions are positive, quoted by The Daily Express as stating what they need was a ‘world-class’ forward, but throwing Neymar’s name into the mixer is a bizarre strategy as there’s more chances of Steven Gerrard walking into the Tavern in an Everton kit.

We’d advise Jimmy to get back on his gaming console and leave the transfer analysis to someone better suited…

Liverpool fans, could Neymar have been signed last summer? Is Jimmy Bullard barking up the wrong tree? Let us know in the comments below!
