Liverpool appear to be targeting one of Europe’s most exciting wingers ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Calciomercato, PSV Eindhoven’s Steven Bergwijn is wanted by the Premier League outfit, although Inter Milan are also believed to be keen on the Holland international.
The 21-year-old has been extremely impressive for the Eredivisie outfit this season, having provided 13 assists and 10 goals in his 30 matches across all competitions so far.
Jurgen Klopp is thought to be keen on adding more of an attacking threat to his side in the summer and the Dutchman could be the ideal man to fit the bill for him.
Valued at £27million by Transfermarkt, Bergwijn is rather versatile when it comes to playing in a number of attacking positions as he can line up anywhere across the front, which could make him an excellent fit at Anfield.
With the likes of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane already in the side, the Dutchman could be an excellent addition to the team and would be able to help provide Liverpool with some additional creativity.
Bergwijn is likely to have plenty of clubs interested in securing his services this summer if he continues to impress with his performances.
