There is no doubt that Liverpool fans already adore the deadly attacking trio they already have spearheading their side, but it appears Jurgen Klopp could look to add another powerful player to those ranks in the summer.

Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino may already be as dangerous as possible, with Xherdan Shaqiri providing some extra support at times, however, the Anfield outfit could look to add Timo Werner to the mix.

According to Sport Bild, via Sport Witness, Liverpool are serious about bringing the £58.5million, per Transfermarkt, ace to the Premier League in the summer.

With interest in him from Bayern Munich as well, it is suggested that Red Bull Leipzig could be prepared to cash in on the player as he would enter the final 12 months of his contract, as they will buy another attacker if he does not agree to an extension.

Imagine all the possibilities that Werner could bring to Liverpool if the club were to add him in the summer.

Although they are still within a chance of obtaining a Premier League and Champions League double this season, the arrival of the 23-year-old could further increase the club’s chances of bringing silverware back to Anfield in the near future.

Werner has an excellent pedigree when it comes to being in front of goal, having been able to find the back of the net 13 times in his 25 appearances across all competitions for Leipzig so far this season.

He is also an extremely versatile attacker as he can play anywhere across the front line, although that must leave the question of who would have to make way in the current team fielded by Klopp?
