The Liverpool fans by the bar in the Transfer Tavern keep telling us that they need to sign a new left back.
James Milner, who has spent his entire career playing as a right winger or a central midfielder, has been filling in there this season.
While he has done a respectable job, he wants to be playing further up the field and Liverpool would prefer a left-footed natural full back in that position.
So the Liverpool fans will be pleased to hear that they have won the race to sign Andrew Robertson, according to The Mirror.
Liverpool have reportedly completed the signing of Andrew Robertson from Hull City and will unveil him as a new signing on the first day of the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old Scotland international has been the standout performer for Hull, who could be relegated today if they lose against Crystal Palace.
After landing Robertson, Liverpool are also targeting his Hull City defensive colleague Harry Maguire.
The towering physical centre half has been another key player for the Tigers this season and could be set to leave this summer, especially if Hull get relegated.
Newcastle and Tottenham are also interested in the ball-playing 24-year-old.
