£63m budget revealed with proposed Liverpool move once again suggested

With the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern nervous about their chances of finishing in the top four, it’s fair to say it’ll be a frantic end to the season.

While Jurgen Klopp’s side have looked incredible at time this season, there remains a defensive frailty in the ranks and star man Philippe Coutinho continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona.

The brilliant Brazilian is one of the most popular figures in the bar, so reports emanating out of Spain haven’t gone down well in the slightest.

Sport claim the Camp Nou titans have a budget of €75m (plus player sales) to spend this summer as they look to rebuild, with the 24-year-old reportedly one of many forwards considered this summer.

That budget roughly equates to £63m, surely around the figure Liverpool would demand.

He, along with the likes of Riyad Mahrez and Ousmane Dembele are believed to be on the radar of the Blaugrana as they hunt for a technical midfielder.

Having already seen Luis Suarez depart for La Liga – despite qualifying for the Champions League – our local Kopites would hate to watch Coutinho follow.
