The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been looking into the possibility of signing Colombian monster, Yerry Mina this summer. According to Fotomac, via The Mirror, the Barcelona man could be on his way to Liverpool although Fenerbahce also want him on-loan.

The impressive Colombian defender has been one of the best performers in Russia. The 23-year-old scored three goals in four World Cup games for his side, including a winner against Senegal as well as his late equaliser to keep the South American outfit against England last night. He’s partnered up with Tottenham’s Davinson Sanchez brilliantly at the heart of his nation’s back-four and he could do the same with Virgil van Dijk at Liverpool.
If Jurgen Klopp did open the chequebook and force the transfer of Mina to Liverpool it would be a move that a lot of Liverpool fans could get behind. The club does already employ a number of central defenders, but with the option to rotate in different competitions and the flexibility of being able to revert to a back-three, the Kopites could easily make room for the signing of Mina if it was to happen this summer.
