It looked as though Trent Alexander-Arnold could do no wrong at Liverpool right now.

The £99m-valued 21-year-old - as per Transfermarkt - has been in fantastic form for the past 18 months, managing 28 assists in all competitions despite playing at right-back. That saw him be nominated for the Ballon d'Or last year, whilst some have even compared him to Kevin de Bruyne.

Can you name the result these iconic Liverpool images belong to? Give it a go now...

However, it now appears he isn't perfect, at least in the eyes of the club's supporters. The England international was taking part in a Q&A on Twitter, with one follower asking him whether he likes pineapple on his pizza. His response was emphatic: Definitely yes.

That hasn't gone down well at all with the club's fans. Many of them, it appears, are disappointed with his preference.

In terms of pizza toppings, it is the ultimate no-no. Let's hope he doesn't go on holiday to Italy any time soon!!

For others, this is enough to want him to leave Merseyside.

That may be pushing it a bit far - after all, he has earned his way into the hearts of the club's supporters through his ability on the pitch, not his dietary habits. Still, he may want to re-think his divisive choice in the future - and may want to avoid outing himself on a well-known social media platform.

Let's just hope he doesn't wade into the Marmite debate.

Meanwhile, Bernardo Silva gives his verdict on Liverpool's Premier League domination.
