Amazing Liverpool XI to challenge for title under Klopp

Liverpool have enjoyed a perfect start to proceedings in the current campaign under Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds have strengthened in all the right areas over the summer and this has been evident in their performances so far this season as they continue to dominate. Indeed, Jurgen Klopp’s side are one of the favourites to secure the title, but this will all depend on how they perform against their title rivals.

It’s important that the German can identify his best XI to really produce a lead at the top of the table and build up ahead of steam.

Therefore, in an ideal world where injuries aren’t a problem and with the Premier League title at stake, here’s an idea of what Klopp’s amazing XI should look like…

We’ve gone with a 4-3-3 formation, as that is the formation that Jurgen Klopp’s side have thrived off so far this season as they’re able to get the ball out to the dangerous wide men, with the midfield three working tirelessly and turning defence into attack.

Alisson Becker suffered a minor hiccup against Leicester City last time out as he offered his best impression of Loris Karius. Although, the Brazilian has looked very accomplished since joining the club and will continue to progress as the season goes on.

Liverpool have finally found a defensive partnership that works in the form of Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez, so they will be called upon for the entirety of the Premier League campaign. Indeed, Andy Robertson is the perfect example of a player coming on leaps and bounds under Jurgen Klopp, with Trent Alexander-Arnold also thriving from the guidance that the German provides.

In midfield, Jordan Henderson will control the ship and snuff out any oncoming attacks, while James Milner will buzz around the middle of midfield and has the ability to contribute in the final third. Also, Naby Keita has looked an exciting prospect so far this season, and his speed and dribbling ability will be sure to cause problems for the opposition as the campaign progresses.

Lastly, the Reds have one of the most dangerous attacks in the whole of world football in the form of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. All three players are already off the mark in the current campaign and are looking dangerous, so you wouldn’t rule out another European march and a push for the title.
