Liverpool are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League with four wins from wins this season.

The Reds have continued their impressive form from last campaign and remain above Chelsea and Watford on goal difference. Jurgen Klopp’s star forward trio have all found the back of the net already, and Liverpool have conceded just one goal which came after Alisson Becker was caught in possession against Leicester. They will their biggest test of the season with a trip to Tottenham scheduled after the international break.

Even after the Reds shelled out £67m to sign Alisson from Roma, their goalkeepers continue to dominate the headlines. Loris Karius was shipped out on loan to Besiktas following his blunders that cost Liverpool the Champions League trophy. Simon Mignolet remained at the club but was vocal over his desire to leave which Klopp was far from pleased with.

When the January transfer window reopens, the German should grant him his wish and replace Mignolet with Fiorentina shot-stopper - Bartlomiej Dragowski. Valued at £1.8m by Transfermarkt, the 21-year-old is widely regarded as one of the most promising goalkeepers in Europe after progressing through the youth ranks in his homeland. Liverpool and Arsenal were reportedly interested in him before he joined Fiorentina back in 2016.

Despite his young age, Dragowski is exceptionally mature and remains extremely calm in high-pressure situations – similar to Liverpool’s new number one. He has a tremendous reach and is known for making spectacular saves as well as excellent positioning which helps him be in the right place, at the right time.

With just four appearances during his time in Italy, the youngster could be persuaded to move to Anfield and learn under Klopp. Under Alisson’s guidance, he could become a massive star in the Premier League.
