The news filtering in from the Sun has added to their positive mood with the publication claiming that the Blues will beat Liverpool to the signing of Barcelona starlet Sergio Gomez.
The 15-year-old attacker looks set to be the next talent to emerge from the Catalan giants, and it seems that the west London club will secure a deal for the promising player this summer.
The report suggests that Liverpool were also keen on the player, however it seems that Chelsea are well and truly in the driving seat with regards to this deal.
Chelsea fans situated over by the pool table here in the Transfer Tavern feel this could be an excellent acquisition, and hope Conte can conclude a deal for the youngster as soon as possible!
