Despite his standing as one of the most lethal forwards in the country when in full flow, the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern do not seem to be all that bothered about Mr. Daniel Sturridge.
With oh so much attacking enterprise to shout about at Anfield right now, the Reds seem to have little place for the England international as Jurgen Klopp creates a truly devastating frontline on Merseyside.
Recently, the England international has been linked with Stoke City and West Ham, though a former Liverpool forward has had some advice for the 27-year-old.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, the rather outspoken Stan Collymore has revealed he hopes the ex-Manchester City and Chelsea forward joins a club where he is almost certain to start regularly.
One of those teams is Everton, believes the pundit.
That would be a hugely controversial move as not many players tend to cross Stanley Park, the last notable man being Nick Barmby.
However, Collymore states a move of that ilk would be a good move for Sturridge.
”He has been at three big clubs but under various managers at each has never really found a home”, he said.
”If he does have to move on in the summer then I hope he will join a club who won’t have the luxury of not picking him as their first-choice striker… a Southampton, a West Ham, even an Everton.”
Would Sturridge be a hit at Everton? Let us know below….
