Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern will be wondering what the correct news surrounding one of their transfer targets is after developments continue to confuse everybody watching the situation.
According to earlier reports, the Reds are thought to have agreed to a deal with Ligue One side Lyon for Nabil Fekir, yet the French club have since hit back on their own Twitter account by stating that the information is false.
Les informations sur le transfert de Nabil Fekir sont fausses.

The French outfit have stated that they ‘categorically deny the false information disseminated by the media’ about a possible deal being concluding between the two clubs for their superstar striker.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is keen on a move for the France international, who has travelled with the squad to the World Cup tournament in Russia, and would have been hopeful of securing a deal for the attacker before the competition starts.
However, it appears that the two clubs are not near a deal and he may have to wait and see how well the player does, which could see him pay even more than what Lyon have already demanded to secure his signature.
Landlord’s Verdict: The Liverpool fans in the Tavern will likely be as confused about the situation as anybody involved, and will surely be wanting to see the deal completed as soon as possible.
The locals in the bar will be hoping they can get their man this summer, and will be keen for the club to continue their efforts to sign a number of players to help with their Premier League and trophy charge in the 2018/19 season.
