The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are expecting a massive summer of activity under Jurgen Klopp as the resident Reds propping up the bar get ready for the Champions League.
Indeed, while the latest reports from the Daily Telegraph hint at the fact the Anfield titans are about to agree a deal for a Premier League forward who may not instantly play, our local Kopites have been impressed with how swift they look to secure a deal.
According to their report, the Merseyside giants are set to sign Chelsea striker Dominic Solanke after the England U20 marksman failed to agree a new deal with his boyhood charges. Liverpool reportedly expect a tribunal to set a £3m fee for the 19-year-old, who will apparently rake in a cool £20k-p/w.
Solanke is understood to see a move to the North West as a great chance to further his development, with many of our punters often lamenting the struggles burgeoning young talent face in breaking into Chelsea’s first-team.
As you can imagine, our local Liverpool lot are absolutely delighted.
