Liverpool fans have seen a lot of toing and froing in the summer window, but the scousers here in the Football Transfer Tavern thought that at least two departures would be certain, but those deals are in doubt.
According to reports from talkSport, Turkish side Besiktas have pulled out of deals for Liverpool strikers, Mario Balotelli and Christian Benteke.
As per the reports, the European side were put off by the Belgian’s reported £32m price tag and the Italian’s general attitude.
Klopp will want to find buyers for the pair as he looks to trim his squad ahead of a season without any European football where first team places will be even harder to come by.
Liverpool fans, we want to hear from you! Should the Reds lower the asking price for Benteke? Will it be hard to offload Balotelli? Let us know in the comments below…
