Liverpool have had a busy transfer window so far and fans in the Transfer Tavern will be hoping the club can continue their spending spree.

Klopp has worked quickly this summer to add some quality to his potential championship-winning squad. With the additions of Naby Keita and Fabinho, Liverpool now have an almost all-star like squad. Klopp still needs to add some vital depth to his squad, however, and Bayer Leverkusen's Julian Brandt could be just the man he needs.

The German international is very highly-rated back home and enjoyed a solid season for Bayer Leverkusen. As it seems Liverpool's deal for Nabil Fekir may have hit the rocks, Julian Brandt is a more than adequate replacement.

At only 22, the winger has already played 132 Bundesliga for the first-team since making his debut four years ago. Brandt has also made 16 caps for Germany and was part of the Confederations Cup winning squad last summer.

Quick, technical and versatile, the talented winger is a typical Klopp player and valued at £36 million by Transfermarkt, he could be an absolute steal for Liverpool. Although he recently signed a contract extension to stay at the German club to 2021, Klopp's reputation and playing style may tempt him to a move to the Premier League.

While Brandt wouldn't be an automatic start, the German international would provide some competition and excellent depth. If Salah or Mane were ever to get injured, Brandt could easily step in and contribute.

Scoring nine goals to go along with five assists, the young German is a well-rounded and experienced player who may just push Liverpool to that elusive Premier League title.

So Liverpool, is this man Klopp should target instead of Fekir?
