Every so often, somewhat of a cult hero will emerge amongst the punters in the Transfer Tavern, with fans (no matter who they support) celebrating their mere existence in the Premier League.
One of those in particular is Liverpool defender Kolo Toure, who has been much loved across his time in England.
So, imagine the disappointment amongst all our punters when reports from the Daily Mail emerged that the former Arsenal and Man City was closing in on a move away from these isles.
According to the report, French giants Monaco are set to offer the 35-year old a deal as his time at Anfield draws to a close.
He has spent three years on Merseyside, coming second in the Premier League under the stewardship of Brendan Rodgers in 2013/14 season.
The Ligue 1 outfit are believed to want to mix experience with some of their burgeoning talent and can offer the Ivorian legend an attractive place to play his football.
Will Toure be remembered best for his top defending or jovial personality?
