French giants to offer Liverpool flop surprise exit plan this summer

It gets better and better for the Liverpool fans smiling like proverbial Cheshire Cats. Life at Anfield is as good as it ever has been under Jurgen Klopp and those aforementioned grins have only got wider following reports from Spain.

Flop forward Mario Balotelli could be set for a summer move to Monaco, according to Spanish publication Fichajes

Currently on loan with AC Milan, the 25-year old Italian international has seen his stock plummet in recent seasons ever since he left there to join the Reds in the first place.

Following departure of Luis Suarez to Barcelona in 2014, the Merseyside giants took a gamble on the ex-Manchester City as they looked to rebuild their squad.

It was a risk not worth taking and he was soon farmed back out on loan to the Rossonieri earlier this season after a miserable Mersey year.

Though the former Inter Milan youngster reportedly wants to stay at the San Siro, comments from club chief Adriano Galliani suggest they are not keen on that as things stand.

Now, Monaco are said to be interested in bringing him over to Ligue 1 if they can agree a reasonable fee with Liverpool for his services.

The French giants have seen their ambitious project of a few years ago crumble, with expensive signings such as Radamel Falcao, James Rodriguez and Geoffrey Kondogbia not working out as hoped and leaving the Stade Louis II reasonably swiftly.

Why are top clubs still bothered about Super Mario? Can he salvage a top level career?
