The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to the news that Rhian Brewster is in good spirits as he continues his rehabilitation from an ankle injury that ended his season in January. The 18-year-old won the U17 World Cup last summer with England, top scoring the tournament, and now fans can’t wait to see him continue his development in a Liverpool shirt. Fans can read more about Brewster’s rehab on the Liverpool website.
Rhian Brewster is 'in good spirits' as he recovers from the ankle injury that prematurely ended a productive season in January.

The Liverpool fans propping our bar up will be excited to see Brewster develop next season as he looks set to be offered a contract and take up a place in the first team under Jurgen Klopp. Brewster only managed 15 appearances across Liverpool’s development squads this season before his injury, scoring six goals and registering seven assists. At the age of just 18 though, losing half a season won’t have an impact on the youngster’s career as fans and pundits alike have tipped Brewster for big things.
The path to the first team at Liverpool is always going to be a tough one. The club’s deadly three-pronged attack of Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino will not be easily usurped, and with Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi coming back from loan in the summer coupled with Dominic Solanke and Danny Ings who will be fighting for a first-team role next season, Brewster definitely has his work cut out for him. The most likely option for Brewster is a loan somewhere for him to gain senior football consistently before coming back to his boyhood club after he’s honed his skills.
