The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern can’t stand Raheem Sterling. The Manchester City winger was in fine form last night in England’s 1-1 draw to Italy at Wembley and it’s left our resident Reds fuming. Sterling switched Anfield for The Etihad back in 2015 and those on Merseyside still hold it against the winger.
Hate how good Sterling is. Anyone who says otherwise and supports Liverpool is in complete denial.

There’s no doubt that Raheem Sterling will become a star when he reaches his prime years, he’s kicked on since Pep Guardiola’s arrival in Manchester and is beginning to blossom into the player that he touted to be when he broke through at Liverpool. Sterling has 15 Premier League goals to his name this season, putting him fourth on the league’s list of top scorers behind Harry Kane, Mo Salah and teammate Sergio Aguero.
At the age of just 23, Sterling’s already picked up 37 caps for the England senior squad, including last night’s friendly at Wembley, netting twice and registering 11 assists. Whilst the ex-Liverpool man’s end product at international level doesn’t quite match his contribution at club level, Sterling will still be a nailed on starter when the Three Lions travel to Russia in the summer for the World Cup. If England are to progress through to the latter stages of this years tournament, they’ll need Sterling to continue in his hot streak of form that Guardiola has uncovered at club level this season.

He's still a money grabbing rat

He’s a good player there was never doubting it but in my opinion wouldn’t get in our front three now. To be fair it’s like he never played for us to me

Money lover……not talented

A horrible little man. Had a fantastic year though when it looked like his time at City might have petered out.

Good player but not world class like many players st City. His end product is more often than not appalling and he gets dispossessed to easily at times

We have a player wit nearly double his goal tally, he cost less and isn't a snake so I can honestly say I don't miss that pansy

He might be good but can never become any clubs Great ! Money will take him to Chinese super league sooner rather than later

He is excellent, but productively it was good business to swap for Mane
