Liverpool’s Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva is somehow on German giants Bayern Munich’s radar. Bayern, according to ‘4-4-2.com’ are tracking Lucas and could make a staggering offer of £15m for the 24-year-old.
To be fair to Lucas he has improved this season and does look stronger and better equipped with life in the Premier League. The Brazilian defensive midfielder has at times struggled to make a big impact for Liverpool and has always received a mix reception from Liverpool supporters; but he has shown this season that he is incredibly valuable to the team and will play a big part in pushing for that Champions league spot. I have watched him on a couple of occasions this season and I have seen vast improvements in his performances and he does look like a fine player.
To say the least it will still be quite shocking if Bayern were to pay that much for the Brazilian defensive midfielder.
While Bayern remain interested in signing Lucas they will probably make an official approach next summer. Lucas does have a contract with Liverpool up until 2015, but with Liverpool already packed with an array of talent in that department could Kenny resist cashing him for £15 million?
