Huge fee revealed as Liverpool look to sort transfer for 27-year-old star

Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are eager to see Jurgen Klopp and his men do the business when it comes to transfers in the summer window.

The Reds have been waiting a while to see their side back in the Champions League but after achieving qualification for the play-offs in 2016/17 they are now just one step away from the group stages.

For sure, then, they’ll be looking to sign some players this window that suggest they are going to make a good go of both that competition and the Premier League and so exciting times are on the way to Merseyside.

Who they sign over the window, then, remains to be seen but it seems as though one man they are going to try and get rid of is Mamadou Sakho.

Indeed, according to The Liverpool Echo, the Anfield side has slapped a hefty £30 million fee on the defender for any side to match if they want to sign him.

Sakho didn’t play for the senior side once last season after a fall-out with Jurgen Klopp and it does really appear now that the former PSG man is going to be somewhere else for 2017/18 – providing someone can stump up the cash.
