Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are excited about how the new season is going to go when it kicks off in August, as well as the upcoming transfer window.
Indeed, the Reds enjoyed a successful 2016/17 that saw them get into the top four and now they’ll be looking to bring in some top players to ensure they are competitive in all competitions next season.
Who comes in, then, remains to be seen but, as you’d expect, there’s plenty of rumours flying about at the moment as we wait for the window to open up for business.
Indeed, one of the names that has been linked is Andy Robertson of Hull – as referred to in The Hull Daily Mail – but as quoted by that particular outlet, he hasn’t made a decision over his future just yet.
“I’ll sit down after this game [Scotland v England] with the people I need to talk to, and decide if it’s right for me to stay at Hull, or if I should look to move on. That’s not something I’m going to worry about until well into the summer.”
Robertson, then, is more focused on doing well for his international side at the moment which is fair enough.
He could, though, have a decision to make soon enough if Liverpool decide to make a concrete offer.
