Liverpool fans here in The Football Transfer Tavern have seen their attacking midfield options swell massively this summer as Jurgen Klopp looks to bring in every playmaker on the market. However our punters are wondering if their boss will find a striker to finish off the chances created.
Well, he may not have to look very far. The Reds boss was playing in a pre-season staff match with other members of his backroom team and looked like he could have something to offer over the coming season.
Although the 49-year-old didn’t find the net he showed flashes hinting that – with a decent pre-season under his belt – he could strike fear into the hearts of Premier League defenders next season.
The former Mainz defender made 337 appearances for the club between 1990-2001, notching 52 goals along the way, why not give him a go?!
Liverpool fans, we want to hear from you! How do you think your boss would line up against his current striking options? Who would you rather see lead the line, Balotelli or Klopp?! Let us know below…
