Billed as the clash of the first round of Champions League matches, Liverpool cruised to a relatively easy win against PSG, despite handing the French side two goals.

Even without Roberto Firmino, the Reds were on top of the French champions right from the beginning of the game. Such was the dominance of Liverpool, that they should've scored even more goals against a PSG side that looked ripe for the taking. Thanks to Firmino's late goal, Liverpool took the win and kicked off the Champions League campaign with a win.

At their best, Liverpool's front-three is arguably the best in Europe and was a huge part of the reason they reached the Champions League Final last year and have started the season so well this year. So far this season, however, it's arguable that the underrated, James Milner has been the club's best player and after seeing what the midfielder did to Neymar on Tuesday night, it's only going to increase him in the estimation of the Liverpool faithful.

Despite being 32, the performances Milner has put in this season, especially against Spurs last weekend, have been superb. Underrated technically, and probably one of the fittest players on the pitch, the former England international has been an invaluable player for Klopp.

Impressively, Milner is one of the few players to have played in Klopp's first game and still be in the side now. It's only a testament to how good a player he is that, he's probably become even more influential now than when he first arrived.

Liverpool fans, what do you think?
