Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish looks set to test Newcastle’s patience when they try and lure their third Newcastle signing in a space of a year having already coup up Andy Carroll and Jose Enrique. Fabrio Coloccini is believed to be an admirer of Dalglish’s and the Liverpool boss looks set to make an offer come the January transfer window.
Captain Coloccini has helped marshal the Newcastle back four in becoming the meanest defence in the country having only conceded 6 goals in 9 games. He has been instrumental as well as a leader this season and it would take a substantial offer to lure the Argentinean rock defender to Anfield.
It is unlikely that the 29-year-old will move this January, but with Liverpool looking nervy at the back this season Dalglish could tempt to make a move. With Carragher nearly passing his expiry date, Dalglish will be looking to strengthen in that area. Dalglish has shown he is not scared to spend big, so any offer thrown at the Anfield based club will not put them off.
The Scot is always looking to strengthen and with the proven experience of Coloccini he would be able to fit right in the heart of the Liverpool defense.
