Klopp begins Liverpool rebuild by making major transfer decision, acting early in the market

Enrique

The Jurgen Klopp rebuild at Liverpool shows no signs of slowing down, much to the delight of our Reds huddled around one corner of the Transfer Tavern, following reports from the Independent.

While much of the transfer talk surrounding Anfield naturally seems to centre around potential big money arrivals this summer, the former Borussia Dortmund coach is already planning his squad for next term.

He has finally taken it upon himself to release full-back Jose Enrique from his deal with the club early, after a pretty much pointless spell for the Spaniard on Merseyside.

A £6m arrival from Newcastle in 2011, the 30-year old has made just 76 appearances for the club.

Often the subject of ridicule due to his frequent activity on social media rather than on the pitch, he has been told not to visit training for the final stages of the season as he plots his next move.

He is thought to have been on around £72,000-per-week with Liverpool, though has rarely featured under either Brendan Rodgers or Klopp.

Will Enrique remain in the Premier League?
